About Us
ImpactAfrica, registered as Hope Outreach Trust, is a dynamic youth development organization committed to transforming Africa through empowered young leaders. Founded in 2007 in Mutare, Zimbabwe, we equip youth aged 15–35 with skills, values, and opportunities for personal growth, leadership, and community transformation. Operating across several African countries, our strategic pillars include Leadership, Missions, Community, and Personal Development. Through conferences, mentoring, outreach, and partnerships, we nurture purpose-driven youth ready to impact families, communities, and nations. Grounded in integrity, innovation, and accountability, ImpactAfrica is a movement igniting change and building a better future—one young person at a time.

Our Agenda for a Better Africa
Africa stands at a pivotal moment, and we firmly believe in its rise to become a leading continent, powered by the collective investment in its vibrant youth. We actively work to bridge the gap that often exists between faith life, social engagement, and career development, ensuring our young people are well-equipped to contribute meaningfully to society. Our strategic pillars—Leadership Development, Missions Development, Community Development, and Personal Growth and Development—are designed to address Africa’s most pressing needs by nurturing a generation of integrity-driven, community-conscious, and purpose-filled leaders.
Together, We Rise.
Our Reach and Impact
Founded in 2007 by Pastor Peter Mapise, ImpactAfrica began its journey in Mutare, Zimbabwe, with a clear focus on creating a ministry that emphasized holistic transformation. Since then, our impact has grown significantly, extending across all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe and into Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, and Kenya. Through initiatives like the IMPACT Business and Leadership Conference (IBLC), which has hosted over 1,500 youths and youth workers in a single event, to our community outreach programs assisting an average of 900 people annually with vital services, we are actively fostering an appreciation for societal realities and promoting a deep commitment to community well-being. Our programs, including Leadership Diploma opportunities, History Makers Conferences, Youth in SDGs Conferences, and various mentoring encounters, are comprehensive tools for practical leadership and community transformation.
We are committed to identifying and nurturing potential from infancy, providing life skills, and ensuring that every disenfranchised or disabled child has the opportunity for identity realization and vision building. By fostering mentoring relationships, conducting transformational camps, and empowering young people to engage with policy and environmental platforms, we ensure that the youth voice is heard and valued.
ImpactAfrica is built on core values of Integrity, Value Addition, Innovation, Transformation, Accountability, and Ecumenism. We believe in the power of synergy and partner with organizations like the Zimbabwe Council of Churches, Youth Empowerment and Transformation Trust (YETT), and International Youth Fellowship to multiply our efforts for a stronger, better Africa.
Join us as we work to change Africa, one young person at a time.
